Parañaque’s indigent senior citizens receive their social pension

The Parañaque City government has distributed the social pension of indigent senior citizens for the second quarter of 2023.

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said that during the first day of payout held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Old Barangay San Dionisio gym, a total of 1,993 senior citizens received their social pension amounting to P3,000.

Olivarez said the city government recorded a total of 12,000 indigent senior citizens from the city’s Districts 1 and 2.

He said the 12,000 indigent senior citizens are expected to receive P3,000 social pension starting Dec. 6 up to Dec. 16.

The mayor said those who failed to get their social pension may visit Old Barangay San Dionisio gym on Dec. 18 and in Area 1 Covered Court in Fourth Estate Subdivision on Dec. 19, to claim it.
