Bacoor Christmas tree lighting symbolic of hope, giving, world peace

CAVITE – The local government unit (LGU) of Bacoor City ushered in the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Bacoor Government Center on Monday, Dec. 4.

The city government’s Christmas theme this year is "Ang Pasko ng Liwanag at Pagbibigayan tungo sa Mapayapang Mundo."

The lighting ceremony was led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Cavite 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado Revilla, Agimat Pary-list Rep. Bryan Revilla, Board Member Ram Revilla Bautista, and City Councilors.

In his speech, Mayor Revilla expressed confidence in the enhanced delivery of services to the city's residents in 2024.

This optimism follows the successful plebiscite in July, which led to the ratification and merging of several barangays in Bacoor.

Local artists, including the Bacoor Hope Children's Chorus, performed during the event.
