PRC releases December 2023 licensure exam results for physical, occupational therapists


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced a passing percentage of 69.57 for the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination (PTLE) and 58.30 percent for the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination (OTLE), both held in December 2023.

Results released on Tuesday, Dec. 5, showed that 1,288 out of 1,884 examinees passed the PTLE, while 323 out of 554 passed the OTLE.

Ma. Angelica Faye Zapanta Dela Victoria from Riverside College topped the PTLE with an average of 89.70 percent.

Following closely, with an average of 89.40 percent, was Ma. Barbara Tolentino Manalaysay from the University of the Philippines-Manila (UPM).

Meanwhile, John Sundiam Ramos, from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), secured the third rank with an average of 89.35 percent.

For the OTLE, the top passer was Kizha Marie Sevidal Gabutan from UPM, with an average of 85 percent.

Eliakim Manlosa Booc of Velez College achieved the second-highest average score of 83.60 percent.

Ranked third was Jaymi Kylle Lumapat Estacio from Davao Doctors College, Inc., with an average of 83.20 percent.

The examination was held on Dec. 1 and 2 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Pampanga, and Rosales, facilitated by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy members.
