Cops seize 400K shabu in Caloocan City buy-bust


Operatives of the Northern Police District's (NPD) Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) seized P414,800 worth of alleged shabu and arrested one suspect in a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City on Monday, Dec. 4.

Police identified the suspect as alias “Niño,” 30, a resident of Caloocan City.

Based on the police report, CCPS operatives, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - National Capital Region (PDEA-NCR), conducted a planned buy-bust operation at around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 4., along 2nd St. in Barangay 118, Caloocan City.

A police officer acted as a poseur-buyer and bought shabu from the suspect which led to his arrest.

Confiscated from the suspect were around 61 grams of shabu with a street value of P414, 800 and the buy-bust money.

The accused will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
