The Parañaque City government has announced that the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will not entertain face-to-face inquiry on business assessment during the renewal of business permits on Jan. 3 to Feb.28 next year.
According to Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez, the BPLO headed by Atty. Melanie Soriano-Malaya, will only allow online inquiry during the renewal of business permit to ensure the health and wellbeing of all clients in the face of rising cases of Covid-19 and related illnesses.
Olivarez said inquiries may be coursed through electronic mail and sent to [email protected].
He said the BPLO will be implementing a number coding scheme based on their business identification number (BIN).
The BPLO chief advised business owners who will be renewing their permit online to go to app.bploparanaque.com/bpls and for onsite renewal, they may visit app.bploparanaque.com/appointment.
Malaya said those with confirmed appointment schedule will be allowed to transact at the BPLO lounge.
She said they will also allow walk-ins for a limited slot on a first come, first served basis depending on the capacity of the BPLO lounge.
The BPLO said business owners who will be renewing more than 10 permits at a time shall be allowed to do so via dropbox.
Malaya also advised them to follow the instructions based on their BIN schedule for them not to pay 25 percent interest plus two percent surcharge.
