Globe, British firm team up for children’s learning app 


Utilizing its widespread internet network in the country, telco giant Globe Telecom Inc. has collaborated with Learning Possibilities, a British education firm, to enhance the reading and speech comprehension of Filipino children through its online learning app. 

Developed by Learning Possibilities, the digital app Learning Islands was created to develop children’s reading skills and English-speaking skills through digital storytelling modes. It uses  Disney characters in telling stories, and offers a variety of interactive games to engage learners.

Learning Possibilities Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Mehool Sanghrajka, MBE explained that the app features an adventure where users must pass through five islands while learning from a collection of 100 Disney video stories and 240 interactive games. 

The games also come with prizes that will excite children and reward them for their participation and efforts.
