Actor Xian Lim has confirmed his split with Kapamilya star Kim Chiu after 12 years of being together.

Xian confirmed moments after Kim posted on social media that her love story with the actor had ended.

His full post on Instagram on Dec. 23:

"Dearest Kim, thank you for the long years we have spent loving each other.

"The 12 years of my life with you was the best gift I could ever ask for. 

"We have expressed our love for each other to the fullest and knowing that I got to share those moments with you, knowing our hearts beat as one at one point in our lives is truly something I will cherish for life.

"Like all good things, it must eventually come to an end. I am grateful for all the moments we shared together. Thank you for all the unconditional love throughout the years. My respect and admiration for you as a person, as an artist, and as someone I spent more than a decade with will always remain.

"I wish that you will find all the happiness and love you are searching for. You deserve nothing but the best."
