Amid controversies, former beauty queen-turned-actress Bianca Manalo remained unfazed as she and her family left for Japan to celebrate Christmas.
Manalo shared some happy photos with her family inside a train in Tokyo on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
On Dec. 10, Bianca announced on Instagram that she and her family would be celebrating Christmas in Japan.
"Our entire family is flying to Japan to spend our Christmas together, but since we didn’t want the kids to miss the joy of opening gifts altogether, we celebrated our Manalo family Christmas party in advance," she wrote.
On Wednesday, Bianca and fellow beauty queen Herlene Budol got involved in a controversy after private conversations with fellow actor Rob Gomez leaked.
Bianca, Herlene, and Rob are stars of the hit Kapuso daytime series "Magandang Dilag."
As of Dec. 20, the three stars have not released any statement regarding the issue.
Bianca is in a relationship with Senator Sherwin Gatchalian. They have been together since 2018. On Nov. 18, they celebrated their fourth anniversary as a couple.
On Nov. 28, Bianca celebrated her 37th birthday in Malacanang with her partner Sen. Sherwin, President Bongbong Marcos Jr., and First Lady Liza Marcos.
"Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought of celebrating my birthday in Malacañang, to be hosted by our very own President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. Together with the Philippine Senators and Spouses. I am beyond grateful! I am 37 but still feels 27," Bianca wrote.
Bianca, 36, is a former Binibini who represented the Philippines at the 2009 Miss Universe beauty pageant in The Bahamas. She was unplaced. Her sister Katherine Manalo was top 10 finalist at the 2002 Miss World pageant. They are the nieces of Miss International 1968 top 15 semi-finalist Nini Ramos.
