Attention, bookworms. This is not a drill but a holiday dream come true, as the second Fully Booked x Kinokuniya officially opened its store at SM Mall of Asia. If books alone aren't enough to entice you to visit this newest store, we're giving you three more reasons to go there.

  • Lots of Studio Ghibli books

Studio Ghibli fans should run, not walk, because this branch has a wide variety of items related to award-winning shows from the said studio. From books and notebooks to art materials, there’s a long list of must-have Ghibli items to get from this store.

  •  Manga

Japanese literature is also synonymous with manga. Manga lovers can spend hours simply choosing which ones to get. Some of the titles we found here include some of this year’s trending shows based on Manga, like “Family x Spy,” “One Piece,” and “Attack on Titan.”

  • The vibe

With a retail space of 318 square meters, half of this space is dedicated to Japanese literature. To level up the store's vibe, Fully Booked and their design team ensure that the layout gives visitors a different experience.

“We put up a lot of murals. One side is all Manga and anime related to showing our partnership with Kinokuniya,” Fully Booked managing director Jaime Daez said. “Our selection here of Japanese books probably has over 10,000 different titles. The biggest category that Filipinos are interested in is Manga, artbooks, and Japanese language. Those are the main things that we concentrate on, and a little bit of Japanese pop-culture.”
