Julia Roberts wants a sequel to 'My Best Friend's Wedding'

Hollywood star Julia Roberts revealed she would love to do a sequel to the blockbuster 1997 romantic-comedy film "My Best Friend's Wedding."

During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Julia was asked by host Andy Cohen: “Which of your movies would you love to do a sequel for?”

Julia answered: "I think maybe My Best Friend’s Wedding“ because there are so many people in it, and to see what they’re doing and how Kimmy and Michael’s marriage is going.”

 

Andy had a follow-up question for Julia: "Who do you think Michael should have married in "My Best Friend's Wedding?' " 

Julia said: "Of course, Jules (Julia's character), but he married Kimmy (Cameron Diaz)."

In the movie, Julia plays Julianne, who discovers she's in love with her best friend, Michael (Dermot Mulroney), who is marrying Kimmy (Cameron). Julia resolves to sabotage her best friend's wedding.
