Tambalque, Suzuki, Manhit, Leonio pull off wins at Aguinaldo

Tambalque, one of the promising young golfers and a local favorite in the juniors circuit, bested Santino Pineda and TJ Padilla in the competition that attracted top players in the country. 

Rafael Leonio snatched the Boys Class B boys crown, while Emil Hernandez and Jacob Taruc placed second and third, respectively.

Race Manhit, who was down by one stroke going to the last day, stormed to a seven-shot victory to get the Boys Class C title. Zian Edoc and Chan Ahn followed suit on the podium.

Ryuji Suzuki, meanwhile, lorded it over in Boys Class D, winning over Luis Espinosa by 14 strokes and Ross Tecson by 47 strokes. 

Gabie Rosca struggled but still escaped with a four-shot win in the Class A girls ahead of Anna Kei Fernandez and seven shots ahead of Angel Bañez.

Levonne Talion bagged the Girls Class B crown over Alessa Luciano  and Precious Zaragoza. Tiffany Bernardino won the Class C trophy, ahead of Kendra Garingalao and Quincy Pilac, while Aerin Chan ruled Class D over Maurysse Abalos and Kami Del Mundo. 

The event was supported by NGAP and MVP Sports Foundation. NGAP Secretary General Bones Floro, NGAP Vice President Rolly Romero, NGAP Board Directors Pepot Inigo and Kit Angeles and longtime junior golf patron Gerry Handog graced the awarding ceremony.
