The program was held at the MPD Headquarters on United Nation Avenue in Ermita, Manila, led by Col. A. Tumibay, acting chief of MPD District Directorial Staff.

Tumibay encouraged the beneficiaries from different areas of Manila to study hard so they could reach their dreams.

During the program, each kid were given toys and food while being entertained by the MPD mascot.

They also enjoyed the dance performance of the MPD fitness team. They also participated in the parlor games and received prizes.

Meanwhile, Tumibay reminded the youth that police officers like them are their friends and they can approach them whenever they need their help.

Tumibay also delivered the message of MPD chief Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay, as he was not able to attend the program due to some important events.

We at MPD are happy to be with you today. We are happy to see your smiles because we also remember the time when we were also at your age. I hope that these activities will be a way for you to learn that we, the police, are also your friends),” Ibay said.

Ibay said that he is hoping that one day, one of these children will also become a police officer who will help and do the same for the children of Manila.
