In Filipino culture, the holiday season is a feasting season. In areas near churches, seasonal delicacies such as bibingka, puto bumbong, and quesong puti are being sold—adding nostalgic feelings and a happy vibe to this festive season.

Most Filipinos, if not all, have fond memories of these foods during months-long Christmas celebrations. To pay homage to these childhood memories, this holiday season, Bo's Coffee, is set to captivate taste buds and warm hearts with its exclusive "Paskong Pinoy" menu.

During the launch event, the coffee store unveiled its limited-time offering that embodies the essence of Filipino Christmas, introducing an array of seasonal delights starting with the Davao Tableya Series. It features world-class local chocolate with Davao Tableya Mocha Froccino, Davao Tableya Iced Mocha, and Davao Tableya Hot Mocha. Perennial favorite Dark Mocha Macadamia Froccino, first introduced in 2019, is also returning to the menu.

To complete the traditional “Paskong Pinoy” treats, Bo’s also includes Mini Bibingka in Original, Cream Cheese, and Ube Cheese variants on the menu. Customers can also enjoy Bibingka Cheesecake, made with queso de bola on a graham cracker crust, and the decadent Tableya Chocolate Cake, a moist and rich chocolate delight.

Rachel Fallarme, Bo’s Coffee's chief operating officer, said that for the chocolate offerings, the company is working with Cacao Mistry, a small cacao community in Davao.

“Here at Bo’s Coffee, since we are a local Filipino company, we always want to showcase the qualities and the culture of Filipinos. That’s why we created food items and beverages that are reminiscent of a childhood,” Rachel said. “This year, we wanted to focus on chocolate. We have partnered with social entrepreneurs to bring quality Filipino products to the global stage. We have partnered with Cacao Mistry.”

Founded in 1996, Bo’s Coffee is a homegrown brand that opened its first store in Cebu City. Since its opening, it has always championed local coffee beans, working with coffee communities and farmers nationwide. Currently, the company works with 40 farmers in Luzon, sourcing different coffee beans such as Benguet, Mt. Apo, and Matumtum beans.

“Paskong Pinoy” offerings will be available until Jan. 16, 2024.
