Kawit's Aguinaldo Shrine, Freedom Park, glow for the holidays

CAVITE â€“ The local government unit of Kawit ushered in the holidays with a Christmas lighting ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Aguinaldo Shrine lit up with colorful projections reminiscent of Filipino Christmas lanterns.

In front of the national shrine, Freedom Park glowed with bright lights and illuminated decorations.

The event drew a large crowd of residents and visitors who were treated to performances by music artists, including soft rock band Agsunta.

Attendees were advised beforehand not to bring valuables and alcoholic beverages at the event and to refrain from touching the displays.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office, meanwhile, handled the security coverage during the ceremony.
