The DOH highlighted the detrimental impact of smoking, emphasizing that it not only causes harm to the individual but also poses risks to those nearby.

Echoing the concerns raised against cigarettes, the health department pointed out that similar negative effects are present in the use of vape and heated tobacco products (HTP).

Moreover, the department also emphasized that the issue extends beyond just the smoke, as the chemicals in cigarettes, vaping, and HTP contribute to health concerns.

Cautioning the public, the DOH urged people to abstain from alcohol consumption, citing its association with diseases such as cancer, hypertension, liver disease, and digestive problems.

Additionally, it warned about the potential role of alcohol in road accidents.

Addressing the use of prohibited drugs, the health agency highlighted the severe damage it can cause not only to one's health but also to education, work, and family and community relationships.

Emphasizing the benefits of a vice-free lifestyle, the DOH stressed that it allows individuals to take better care of their health, reduce the risk of mental health conditions, and maintain positive relationships with family and friends.

"You are more free to pursue your life goals and enjoy hobbies such as sports, the arts, and more," stated the department, encouraging a holistic and healthier way of life.
