David Chua and beauty queen Maureen Montagne channeled kick-ass gangsta vibe for Halloween as they dressed up as Hollywood icons Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, both known for their quirky, out-of-the-box fashion statements.

Apparently, the leather-clad David and Maureen channeled the raw fury of the punk rock era for a look test for a future project.

“The photo shoot was actually a look test for a future project that I’m planning to kick off next year,” David reveals. “The main characters will be part of a band and the setting will be on an island. I actually had a hand in writing the story, but I can’t reveal most of the other details yet though.”

When David posted the pics on his Instagram Reels, he was shocked to see over a million likes within the first 24 hours.

He mused, “The fans must’ve been curious, having associated me for the longest time with my Good Will co-star Devon Seron.”

The Rated Korina director and Good Will lead star admits that he didn’t know much about Maureen prior to their first few meetings.

He says, “First impression? She was stunning! If you look closer at her eyes, you’d be mesmerized to find out that she actually has grey eyes, which is quite rare. She may seem snobbish at first, but I was surprised that she was very down-to-earth.”

“When we did the shoot at our studio in Tondo, Manila. I toured her around the area and brought her to some of the best restaurants in Chinatown, and she relished every moment of it. Koboy na koboy siya and walang kaarte-arte, which you wouldn’t expect from a very glamorous queen.”

Teased if he has any plans of courting Maureen, David readily admits, “Sino ba naman ang hindi mai-in love with someone so beautiful? But honestly, I’m happy that she loves Tondo, she loves Chinatown, and she’s very humble and down-to-earth.”

The Halloween shoot was done at David’s Dark Carnival Productions studio, with photographer Justin Soriano, make-up artist Kleng Totanes (for Maureen), and Gab Laxamana and Gee Jocson sharing hair and styling duties for David and Maureen.
