The governor sat down with officials from the 16th World Bank Implementation Support Mission  headed by Anna Wellenstein, the sustainable development regional director for East Asia and the Pacific.

“Implementation of several programs in the province was discussed. We believe that the visit will improve the relations between the province of Bohol and the World Bank,” Aumentado said.

During the meeting, Aumentado thanked the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) for committing to support various projects in the province.

According to Aumentado, 71 percent of PRDP’s funds have been allocated for Bohol, including the implementation of the province’s Sustainable Inclusive and Resilient Tourism Project.

“The visit really opened a lot of opportunities which are all part of our goal to make Bohol a smart and resilient province,” said Aumentado.
