The Career Executive Service Board (CESB) brought joy to some 35 cancer patients at CHILD (Center for Health Improvement and Life Development) Haus, Mapang-akit Street in Barangay Pinyahan, Diliman, Quezon City last Nov. 14 during the golden anniversary of the founding of CESB and as part of the CESB’s Race to 50: 50th CES Anniversary Community Passion (ComPassion) Project.

CESB Executive Director Maria Marcy Cosare-Ballesteros, CESO II, led the team of CESB staff to support the advocacy of CHILD Haus, a temporary shelter or home located on Mapang-akit Street in Quezon City and Agoncillo Street in Manila for Indigent patients from different provinces who have cancer or other dreaded diseases and have no place to stay in Metro Manila. At the same time, they are being treated in hospitals during the day.
