Princess Revilla stepped away from the spotlight of show business to prioritize her family's well-being. Motivated by her sense of purpose, Princess established not one, but two charitable institutions named after herself and her mother. Her siblings - Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. and Strike Revilla provided her with full support.

In 1998, Princess founded the Azucena Mortel Bautista Memorial Foundation to honor her mother and continue her parents' philanthropic legacy.

"The greatest kindness you can do to the least of our fellow is by helping them to develop their lives and livelihood," said Princess when asked about the inspiration behind her two foundations during a catch-up with some of the entertainment press in Taguig City recently.

She added: "Our mission is to provide essential resources, education and support the poor communities, fostering the journey towards self-sufficiency and a brighter future."

Continuing her parents' charitable deeds can inspire others profoundly. She hopes that by demonstrating her dedication to upholding this legacy, she can encourage others to join her cause.

Her parents' philanthropic actions reflected their values and beliefs. They emphasized the significance of showing empathy and compassion towards the poor. Continuing charitable works honors and propagates cherished values.

Princess remembered a lesson that was engraved in her soul. "In our formative years, our parents entrusted us with responsibilities, grooming us to manage the family businesses. While our efforts were rewarded, it taught us the essence of hard work."

She highlighted that the presence of her parents brings the greatest joy. When the late Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. was hospitalized, their family stood vigil beside their patriarch, united in their final moments with him.

"Later in life, our strength and unity are derived from the boundless love and unwavering support we offer each other. This invaluable lesson became my guiding light, propelling me forward in my entrepreneurial endeavors and other vocations" she said.

Antonio Vicente, the eldest son, and Angelica Marie, the only daughter, have both ventured into the world of business, while Gregorio "Igi" Miguel has dedicated himself to public service and is currently serving as a city councilor in Imus.

Princess fully supports Igi accompanying him to conduct dialogues and caucuses at the grassroots level, particularly with women, mothers, and the urban poor sector.

She gained a deeper understanding of the situation and difficulties faced by the poor through these immersive experiences.

"Immersion in the community makes you grounded, and as a responsible public servant, this makes you more engaged and responsive to the aspirations of your constituents," she added.

Princess continues to pursue her passion for charity alongside her flourishing businesses. She also engaged in various civic and philanthropic activities through her foundation, the Princess Revilla Foundation.

She is devoted to the eradication of poverty and the cultivation of a better quality of life.

"In my own modest way, I contribute to the battle against poverty. I find contentment and joy in extending a helping hand to the most vulnerable members of our society. At present, my focus lies in nurturing the foundation and expanding its services to those who need it the most," said Princess.

Princess, a non-political luminary among the renowned Revilla family, discussed the direction of her charitable work. She describes her charity work as selfless and voluntary, without any expectation of material gain. The former actress aims to inspire and empower individuals by demonstrating the strength of being kind and compassionate.

Last Oct. 29, the Princess Revilla Foundation, Inc. spread joy among 400 children from three to 12 years old accompanied by their parents during gift-giving and mass-feeding activities in barangay Habay II, Bacoor City.

"Simple lang si Ate Princess. I find happiness in the pursuit of livelihood, cherishing the dignity of work. I derive immense joy from sharing the blessings bestowed by our Creator and lending a helping hand to those in need. We are not extravagant or showy; it's far better to lend a hand to those who need it."
