Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested on Monday, Nov. 13, an alleged female drug peddler during a buy-bust operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
In its initial report, the PDEA stated that businesswoman Rubie Lee was collared at around 1:45 p.m. after the anti-narcotics operatives caught her selling 50 grams of shabu to an undercover agent.
After receiving a tip from an informant, the PDEA team immediately proceeded to 1001 B. Tambacan corner Ongpin Streets where the transaction between Lee and the undercover agent occurred.
The PDEA agents, who were positioned strategically, pounced on the suspect after the deal was consummated.
Aside from the 50 grams of shabu, the PDEA agents also confiscated a cellular phone and a P1,000 bill used in the transaction.
