NPA abducts 2 cousins in Quezon


INFANTA, Quezon – Two cousins were reportedly abducted by the New People’s Army in Sitio Pinapinan, Barangay Magsaysay, this town, last month.

Police identified the kidnap victims as Jojo Adoba and Noel Velasco. 

Velasco’s wife told the Infanta Municipal Police Station on Wednesday, November 1, that they were kidnapped on October 9 at around 8 p.m. while they were fishing at Pinapinan Creek.

Adoba, a resident of Sitio Pinapinan, has been released.

Velasco, is still being held by the communist guerrillas identified as alias ”Boyong,” “Bulag,” “Banene,” “Manilyn,” “John,” and “Kim.”

This town is 144 kilometers northeast of Manila and 136 kilometers north of Lucena City and accessible to Metro Manila through the Marcos Highway.
