Swedish fashion brand H&M has been known for working with many of the industry’s biggest names and labels for its designer collaboration series. These include the likes of Versace, Comme des Garçons, Balmain, Maison Margiela, Stella McCartney, the late Karl Lagerfeld, and most recently Mugler. This season, the label announces its joining forces with Rabanne for one glamor-filled collection.

The collaboration was made during an event in Paris at Silencio nightclub. Actors Damson Idris, Jared Leto, Elle Fanning, and Irina Shayk were among the guests who got the chance to get an exclusive preview of the collection ahead of its launch. There to represent the Philippines were celebrity couple James Reid and Issa Pressman.

According to the brand, and based on the guests’ looks, the Rabanne x H&M collection is set to produce party-ready pieces, imbued with prints and metallics—some of the hallmark styles of the iconic French fashion house.

“Rabanne’s metallic dresses are instantly recognizable pieces of fashion history,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M. “We’re thrilled to bring a dazzling array of Rabanne designs to our customers with this sensational collaboration.”

“As a designer, I’ve always been interested in exploring hedonism and empowerment,” said Julien Dossena, creative director of Rabanne. “I was very enthusiastic to work with H&M on a collection that will introduce Rabanne’s avant-garde energy to a wider audience in a democratic way.”

The Rabanne x H&M collection, which includes womenswear, menswear, shoes, and accessories, as well as an H&M home décor capsule, is set to be released on Nov. 9, 2023.
