The Pasay City government launched a learning exhibit for students to learn about the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) heritage sites and the city's rich culture at the Pasay City West High School on Monday, Oct. 13.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiao, who led the inauguration of the exhibit themed “Changing Course, Transforming Education”, was joined by members of the Department of Education (DepEd).
“The ASEAN and UNESCO learning exhibit is indeed one for the books. We are truly blessed with the opportunity to witness firsthand the brilliance of our neighboring regions through ASEAN. Likewise, we are fortunate to be in line with UNESCO, as these are all part and parcel of our wide-scale thrust for sustainable goals and development,” Rubiano said.
The mayor said the exhibit will be brought to other schools in the city and will open up to Nov. 6.
