The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) paid a courtesy visit to the Office of Representative Edwin Olivarez on Thursday, Sept. 28.
Olivarez warmly welcomed the delegates during their visit to discuss international trade and commerce between the countries to help improve and strengthen each other’s economic relations.
The delegates who visited his congressional office were from the Chinese cities of Hunan, Lou Di, Yong Zhou, Shao Yang, Chang De, and Shuang Feng county with their respective Deputy Presidents Hu Qiang, Liu Yongzhong, Ai Kexiang, Liu Dong Yi,. Liu Yifengi, and, Peng Ningwu.
The congressman thanked his brother, Mayor Eric Olivarez who joined in the discussion with the delegates.
Olivarez, who is the chairman on Government Enterprises and Privatization in the Philippine House of Representatives, had a fruitful discussion with the Chinese CCPIT delegates on international trade and commerce between the countries to help improve and strengthen each other’s economic relations.
He thanked the delegates for their visit and hoped their discussion will help both countries' economic relations grow.
