LOOK: Noelle Martinez launches her own activewear brand

She has the look, the talent, and, of course, the status, given that she came from generations of actors in the Philippines. But all of these didn’t make her complacent in working hard to carve her own name and achieve her own dreams. 

At the age of 18, Noelle Martinez, daughter of Mikaela Martinez officially started her journey as a businesswoman as she launched own sportswear brand—Found activewear. 

In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, the freshman student who’s taking up a degree in entrepreneurship shared details about the story behind Found activewear and what inspired her to build this business. 

What is Found activewear? 

I’ve been on social media since I was 13 years old, and now I am pursuing the path of being in the entertainment industry. But, aside from that, growing my own business has always been something I was interested in especially when it comes to something I’m really passionate about. 

Found activewear is a brand that focuses on workout sets that are unique, comfy, and flattering. Its goal is to inspire and motivate everyone who wears it to get their body moving, to prioritize taking care of their bodies, and to feel confident as they do so.

What inspired you to put up this business?

It was only last year that I grew to love fitness and with that, I found myself wanting to document the journey on my Instagram (@iamnoellemartinez) which inspired and motivated a lot of people along the way—which I didn’t expect. As I continued to fall more in love with this whole fitness journey, eventually wanting to put together my own activewear line was something that sparked my interest.

What makes your products unique?

Personally, what makes my products unique are the fact that the workout sets really focus on embracing your body type. The sets are very comfy which can make it perfect as loungewear as well. The clothing is perfect if you’re always on the go and that’s one of the things I love about my brand and of course the message that comes along with it. 

Are you planning to expand the sizes option to make it more inclusive for women of all sizes? 

Yes, of course! Found activewear is all about embracing and genuinely loving every body type. I want everyone to feel like they found their activewear. 

What are your expansion plans in the future?

You could look forward to more unique designs and collections

What’s your message to other young people who also want to establish their own business?

At first, I know it can be scary but as long as you love what you do and are passionate about it, then that’s what matters. Always be open to learning new things, keep going, always remember why you started and for sure you’ll go far.
