Xian Lim: I'm sorry I doubted you’

Xian Lim worried fans recently publishing a vlog titled "I made a mistake."

The nearly five-minute video started like a public apology.

"I made a mistake, and I'm sorry," the actor said.

Many thought he is addressing girlfriend Kim Chiu.

A few seconds later, it was made apparent that he is apologizing to himself.

"I'm sorry I doubted you. I should've done more with the time I had but I was too busy thinking negatively about myself," Xian said revealing how he actually hated himself to the pointed he was doing self-harm “physically and emotionally."

According to Xian, it all stemmed from him thinking he was not good enough, and that he doesn't belong in show business.

"They're better than me. I suck. I'm such a loser. I'll never be like them," he said.

In the video description, Xian said it was, "A public confession to the person I have the biggest debt on."

He added, "I could have been soaring, but I chose to think about the worst that could happen rather than letting things fall into place."

But that is all in the past now.

Xian is now intent on becoming “the best version" of himself.

He’s not there yet but he promises, "I'll continuously be better."
