Kadiwa Truck rolls out in San Juan

The San Juan City local government officially launched on Thursday, Jan. 12, the Kadiwa Truck as part of the national government’s efforts in bringing cheap, quality produce to the public amid the rising prices of basic commodities.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora led the launch of the program in Barangay St. Joseph and explained that the Kadiwa on Wheels initiative of the Office of the President and the Department of Agriculture (DA) will now be visiting different barangays in various cities as they expanded the program’s reach to more people.

Zamora said San Juan has been chosen as the program’s pilot city for its regular operations. The Kadiwa Truck will be visiting other barangays in San Juan every two days starting Jan. 12.
