Students and personnel of Far Eastern University (FEU) evacuated to open grounds following a bomb threat at the FEU Arts building in Sampaloc, Manila, on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The Manila Police District (MPD) said that a student informed the FEU Control and Monitoring Office about a bomb threat that was posted on the Facebook page of One Piyu Community.
According to the MPD Barbosa Police Station (PS-14), they received a phone call around 3:05 p.m. regarding a bomb threat at the Arts and Science Building.
Police were immediately dispatched to verify the information.
Meanwhile, the university official publication FEU Advocate announced that the classes resumed after an inspection was conducted by a bomb squad in the premises at 5:20 p.m.
MPD-District Explosive and Canine Unit (DECU) is still investigating and conducting inspections.
