7 things you should know about Sunnies Studios’ new flagship store

Plus, opening promos you shouldn’t miss

It’s been 10 years since Sunnies Studios put up their humble kiosk at the second level of Glorietta 2. Now, that small space has expanded 12 times, becoming the biggest store to date. And they named it Sunnies Fun House.

“Our story lies within the lines and curves of the Glorietta store. It had a lot of firsts and grew as the brand grew, slowly expanding through the years as spaces surrounding it opened one by one. It was the perfect homecoming, ten years in the making,” shares Sunnies Co-Founder Eric Dee.

From their very first sunglasses collection in October 2013, the optical shop continues to expand their offerings with optical eyewear and even functional eyewear such as glasses for reading, specs that are polarized, and even ani-rad eyewear for blue light protection.

Here are three things you should know about Sunnies Fun House.

  1. It’s inspired by the architectural structures and paper cutouts. Just check out their colorful couches while you wait for your prescription glasses to be done.
  2. It takes 19 minutes to wait for your single-vision prescription glasses.
  3. Have fun taking selfies with their custom mirrors that are designed by Filipino-Australian artist Jessica Dorizac.
  4. Enjoy drinks such as coffee and iced tea at the Sunnies Coffee situated in the middle, with bar stools to sip as you wait for your glasses.
  5. Aside from its wide variety and offerings of eyewear, they also have a big wall full of their merchandise.
  6. Here’s something for free—have your eyewear cases engraved for free. You can actually have any Sunnies Studios merchandise engraved, as long as it’s a flat surface. And you can even bring old items and have it engraved. It doesn’t matter if it’s old or new.
  7. Vist this weekend to avail of store opening treats such as a free tote for a minimum purchase of P995, free coasters upon spending a minimum of P2,000, and free desk tray when you spend a minimum of P3,000.
