Surprise! Chris Evans is now married.

The Captain America star, 42, said "I do" to actress Alba Baptista, 26, at an intimate wedding in Boston, Massachusetts, on Sept. 9.  

US Media outlet Page Six first disclosed the news reporting that the ceremony was" "locked down tight," as guests signed NDAs and phones were forfeited.

According to People, many of the couple's famous friends were spotted in nearby Boston for the wedding, including Evans' Marvel costars Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan Downey; Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky; and Jeremy Renner plus John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. 

Chris and Alba representatives have yet to post any news or updates about their wedding as of this writing. 

The couple was first reported to be in a relationship in November 2022 and became Instagram official two months later. 

A source added at the time, "They are in love, and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her."

Alba is a Portuguese actress best known for her role on Netflix's hit show Warrior Nun, her English-language debut series. She speaks five languages, including Portuguese, English, German, French, and Spanish.

Before appearing on Warrior Nun, Alba also appeared in hugely popular Portuguese films and TV shows, including A Impostora, Filha da Lei, and A Criação. 

Given the success of her series, Alba starred in the 2022 dramatic comedy "Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris," where she played the role of Natasha alongside Lesly Manville and Jason Isaacs. 

She volunteered at an orphanage in Cambodia to teach in 2018, in addition to her acting career.

The 'Captain America' star showed glimpses of his low-key relationship with the actress in February as a sign that he's already in love. Other media outlets suggested that the two have been going out "for over a year" but the couple has not revealed how their relationship began.
