Pasay LGU, McDonald's to offer jobs to senior citizens, PWDs

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano announced that seniors citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the city will soon be given the chance to work at McDonald's.

According to Rubiano, jobs at the famous fast food chain will be opened to seniors and PWDs once the local government signs the memorandum of agreement (MOA) with McDonald's Philippines on Aug. 30.

Rubiano said the MOA is part of her programs to aid senior citizens and PWDs in the city.

It also serves as a birthday treat to residents as part of her month-long birthday celebration.

The mayor said a job fair will also be offered to job seekers. It will be held at the fourth floor Pasay City Hall Session Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Rubiano said the job fair will showcase jobs from 24 participating companies.
