Parañaque Mayor Eric, Rep. Edwin distribute paints for 'Brigada Eskwela'


Parañaque City Mayor Eric and Representative Edwin Olivarez led the distribution of donated paints to Parañaque Elementary School-Central Quadrangle on Thursday, Aug. 24.

Mayor Eric said that more than 500 gallons of paint, equivalent to 90 boxes, were distributed to the school as part of the "Brigada Eskwela" program of the Department of Education-National Capital Region (DepEd-NCR).

The mayor said the donation will be used to paint the classrooms in the school to beautify them for students ahead of the opening of school this coming Aug. 29.

He said the paint donation is expected to be distributed to the city's 45 public schools. 

During the distribution, Rep. Edwin and his wife, Janet Olivarez, thanked the officers of A-Plus paints, led by Vice President for Corporate Affairs Ino Marquinez Jr. 

Rep. Edwin said the donation is a big help for the school, especially now that teachers are preparing to clean the classrooms of students for the opening of school.   

Officers from the DepEd-NCR lead by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Losaria, Assistant School Division Superintendent Violeta Gonzales and Local School Board Dooly Villar, principals and teachers were very thankful for the paint donation.
