Board Member of the second district of Camarines Sur Niño Tayco thanked the PCSO for helping the residents of Pasacao, including fishermen and farmers living along the coastal area.
"These food packs are very important because this aid will reach many people, especially those indigent residents of the city of Pasacao including fishermen and farmers living in the coastal sea. Many thanks to Dir. Guevara and GM Robles. Retaliate, PCSO," Tayco said in a statement issued on Tuesday, Aug. 1.
The turnover ceremony, led by PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles, PCSO Director Jennifer Liongson-Guevara, and Executive Assistant Arnold "Bong" Arriola, was held in Mandaluyong City on Monday, July 31.
The distribution of food packs is part of the PCSO's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aligning with the agency's mission to uplift and support vulnerable communities.
The initiative also reflects the PCSO's commitment in accordance with the instructions of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., who has emphasized the importance of social welfare and helping those in need throughout his administration. (Rhowen Del Rosario)
