Seven players scored in double figures as the Bossing leaned on a huge third quarter pullaway to finish the pre-season exhibition tournament with a 7-4 record under the system of new head coach Jeff Cariaso.

Casio spearheaded the assault for Blackwater, finishing with 18 points built on four triples while Mike DiGregorio added 15 spiked by his own three conversions from deep.

Troy Rosario had 11 points and nine rebounds while Rashawn McCarthy and Ato Ular contributed the same offensive output. Rey Suerte also chipped in a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Blackwater tightened up its defensive screws in the second half to whip the hapless TNT which, on the other hand, finished the pre-season with a league-worst 1-10 record although that was very much understandable considering that no one from its key players suited up for the team.

Still, the Tropang Giga still put up a fight against the Bossing who started out hot in the opening quarter, exploding for 32 points to take an early double-digit advantage. TNT came back roaring and came within three late in the second quarter before back-to-back hits from Digregorio and Suerte restored order for Blackwater.

That five-straight points to end the half and the three consecutive triples from Casio and Digregorio to open the third quarter fueled a 14-0 run bridging the break for Blackwater to establish a 16-point cushion, 63-47.

Blackwater never looked back from there as it established a lead that went to as many as 27 points in the final frame.

Glenn Khobuntin who proved to be the best player in TNT roster all throughout the pre-season, finished with 15 points while Jaydee Tungcab added 14.
