As food delivery and pre-ordering meals with self-pickup options become increasingly integrated into our daily lives, food superapps and their technological advancements have significantly improved our lives. One superapp, in particular, is leading the way by not only meeting consumer needs but also supporting its merchant partners.

Grab Philippines serves as proof of a sustainable long-term livelihood program for every Filipino, transforming businesses, and helping consumers transition to a hybrid lifestyle post-pandemic. Last month, the superapp hosted the GrabNext Conference 2023, where it unveiled cutting-edge tech solutions and merchant packages for its partners.

"We remain steadfast in our commitment to empowering MSMEs and businesses in the Philippines,” shares Grab Philippines Senior Director for Deliveries Anton Bautista. “By continuously reinventing business models, tailoring innovative solutions, and introducing industry-leading tools, we help safeguard the scalability and sustainability of our merchants as they navigate an O2O environment.”

These solutions include the Marketing Manager, an exclusive portal for merchants to maximize their digital marketing campaigns and efforts. It allows them to create a single ad campaign that reaches all store locations. Additionally, the portal features a Forecasting widget that provides real-time potential results based on chosen audiences and budgets.

The conference also introduced Grab Merchant Partner Packs, which offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to choose the best support model aligned with their business goals and income stream. Available in three tiers—Basic, Platinum, and Premium—each pack provides tailored advantages to meet the partners' needs. These advantages include a designated delivery area, optimized delivery fees for consumers, Grab-funded promotional campaigns, and visibility in GrabUnlimited.

Other conference highlights were Find & Dine, Scan-to-Order, and Self-Pickup. Grab promises to continue innovating to help MSME businesses achieve sustainability and growth.
