Cops dangle P200,000 reward for killer of Quezon village chair


CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City – Police on Saturday, July 8, offered a P200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the gunman of Chairman Benedicto Alcaide Robo of Barangay Guis-guis San Roque, Sariaya, Quezon.

Quezon police chief Police Col. Ledon Monte said the reward money for the apprehension of suspect Marvin Fajarda Flores, 26, of Barangay Bignay 2 here came from the municipal and provincial governments.

Monte said that the incident is not related to the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

Robo was gunned down on Friday, July 7, at past 11 p.m. after he accosted the drunk suspect for his unruly behavior.

Ledon urged residents ofSariaya and nearby areas to help the police by giving information about the suspect for his immediate arrest and give justice to the bereaved family of Robo.
