A total of P680,000 worth of shabu was seized from two high value individuals (HVIs) in a buy-bust operation in Caliwag St., Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said Tuesday, July 4.
The HVIs are identified as "Acob," 58-years-old, and "Raimah," 43-years-old, residents of Barangay Pinagbuhatan and are tagged as Regional HVIs with rank 5 and 9, respectively.
The police report indicated that operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), Station Intelligence Section (SIS), and District Intelligence Division (DID) of the EPD, conducted a series of surveillance operations against the two suspects prior to the buy-bust operation which led to their arrest.
Confiscated from Acob and Raimah are 19 plastic sachets containing shabu with an estimated weight of more or less 100 grams and with a standard drug price of P680,000, and the boodle money.
The two are now facing charges for Violation of Sections 5 and 11 Art. II of R.A. No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

I also urge the general public to be vigilant and be our active partners in the fight against all forms of lawlessness and criminality towards a drug and crime free Pasig City," Pasig City Police Chief PCol. Celerino Sacro Jr. said.
Earlier, the Pasig City Police recovered P918,000 worth of shabu from another HVI wanted for illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation on June 28 on Gabriel St. Barangay Santolan.
