Mayor Aguilar lauds federation of senior citizens in Las Piñas


Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar commended the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of Las Piñas, Inc. for their dedication in promoting the well-being and rights of every elderly within the community.

Aguilar cited the group during the oath-taking of newly elected officers of senior citizens held at the Mayor’s Office at Las Piñas City hall on June 21.

The mayor also expressed her gratitude for the contribution made by the elderly population of Las Piñas.

Aguilar emphasized the importance of inclusivity and vowed to continue supporting the initiatives that enhance the quality of life for senior citizens.

Vice Mayor April Aguilar, who was also present during the oath-taking, shared similar sentiments as she acknowledged the valuable contributions of seniors to Las Piñas.

The vice- mayor stressed the need to empower the seniors and provide opportunities for them to remain active and engaged in society.

The newly elected officers expressed their gratitude to the community for placing their trust in them and pledged to work diligently to address the concerns and needs of senior citizens.

The group reiterated their commitment to promoting programs that would enhance the welfare and quality of life of older residents.
