The trailer revealed the title of the first stage and episode of the show to be "Tryout," piquing curiosity in how the participants will be required to demonstrate their potential to become the next global K-pop star.

The show will be live-streamed for global fans on HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel worldwide starting with the first episode on June 30.

The first global voting period is from 11 p.m. on June 22 to 11 a.m. on July 5 (ET). Viewers can cast their vote through the global fan community platform Weverse and the e-wallet app Toss.

“R U Next?” is a survival show through which the next global girl group to debut from Belift Lab, the joint-venture label by HYBE and CJ ENM, which launched K-pop boy band ENHYPEN, will be decided.

Profile photos and a video of the trainees unveiled earlier this month provided a look into the 22 participants' characters.
