A total of 1,000 Parañaqueños received food packs from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Wednesday, June 14.

Mayor Eric Olivarez thanked the PCSO for the donation of food packs in their outreach program activity themed “ Panata sa Bayan, Biyaya sa Mamamayan.”
Olivarez said PCSO Chairman Junie Cua, Director Jennife Liongson-Guevarra and Janet de Leon Mercado joined in the distribution of food packs to 1,000 Parañaqueños.
He said the food packs distributed to Parañaqueños are a big help especially to families who are in need of assistance.
The mayor also said, aside from the food packs, four deserving students were given scholarship grants to help them finish their studies.
He added that the scholarship grants will also help alleviate their families financial burdens and cover the students' expenses while studying.
