A fire hit a four-story industrial building at the corner of Bakawan Street and Lumbayao Street in Barangay San Antonio, Makati City on Wednesday, June 14, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
According to the BFP, the building on fire is owned by Ruddy Tan and is occupied by Burlington Industries.
The blaze started at 6:41 a.m. and was raised to the 2nd alarm at 7:04 a.m. Fire responders raised the 3rd alarm at 7:22 a.m. and the 4th alarm at 8:15 a.m.
The inferno was declared fire out at 12 p.m.
Tan said the fire has caused an estimated P7,000,000 worth of damage.
