Neri Miranda on why kids need to be active

Zest-O shows how parents can enjoy fun play time with their children

As parents, we remember the good old days when we used to go outdoors and play with the neighborhood kids. Afternoons were spent outside until the sun set. Sometimes, even nightfall when our guardians would go out and look for us to bring us back home.

And now that we’re parents, how does one find ways to connect with our children? Zest-O hosted its very first summer event, treating families to a unique and fun experience at PlayLab, Galleria South in San Pedro, Laguna. For those who don’t know what PlayLab is, it offers an interactive digital playground where physical play meets cerebral activity.

Endorsers Chito and Neri Miranda and their children joined the one-day event, playing with families as they all immersed in the visually stimulating ball pit, trampolines, interactive slide, inside the PlayLab attraction.

“This activity is our way of encouraging modern interaction and bonding between parents and kids. By incorporating the Zest-O experience to the more modern way that kids play today, which is more socially interactive and digitally driven, present-day parents can create and encourage different experiences for the new generation of Batang Zest-O,” explains Raychelle Reyes, Zest-O group brand manager.

Aside from this modern family activity, Neri also shared with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle how she and her husband Chito keep their kids active, “Gusto namin pinapalabas namin sila. Lagi kami nasa labas, naglalaro ng mga patintero. Mas enjoy kami if mas active sila. Dahil mas healthy rin sila.”
