Around 132 families who were affected by a fire incident last Monday, May 15, received assistance from the Las Piñas City government.
Vice Mayor April Aguilar led the distribution of assistance to the victims who are temporarily staying in three evacuation sites in Talon Uno and Talon Singko.

Aguilar visited the 132 families to check on their conditions on Tuesday, May 16.
She said Mayor Imelda Aguilar ordered the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Health Office (CHO), and the Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) to be alert and readily respond to the immediate needs of the victims.
The vice mayor added the city government will continue to monitor the conditions of the victims at the evacuation sites.
Aguilar said the fire that occurred on May 15 reached the level of Task Force Alpha and razed around 100 houses made of light materials.
Eight were reportedly hurt during the incident.
