12 Kalinga cops awarded for notable deeds


TABUK CITY, Kalinga -- Twelve police officers were awarded PNP medals for their notable accomplishments during the command visit of Brig. General David Peredo,J r., regional director of Police Regional Office-Cordillera, in Camp Capt Juan M Duyan, Bulanao in this city on Monday, May 8.

A Medalya ng Kagalingan (Medal of Merit) was given to Capt. Joseph Marcasi and SSg Louie Padayao for the successful arrest of a high-value individual and regional top ten drug personality in Kalinga.

The same award was presented to PEMS Jerry Granel and PEMS Geopano A Mosing for the successful arrest of a number six most wanted person in city level for violation of RA 8353 in Cagayan.

Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to Maj. Quendolyn Adangi and SSg Viva Rose Chulsi for their invaluable services rendered as Lecturers in the successful conduct of the 10-Day Crime Scene Initial Response Orientation Course (CSIROC) in Tabuk City.

A Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) was given to Lt. Arnel Gunayon  and PCMS Albert Gupaal Jr. for the successful arrest of the suspect listed in the 10 most wanted persons in the municipal level of the Cagayan Police Provincial Office, for violation of RA 10591 and PD 1866 in Kalinga.

The same award was given to SSg Peter Lao-ang and Pat Irene Yag-ao for their significant contribution to the successful conduct of the 3-Day Youth Leadership Summit held in Kalinga.

A Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya (Police Relations Medal) was awarded to Capt. Virginia Sabawil and SSg Arnel Banatao for their noteworthy accomplishments in the field of Police Community Relations under Project KABADANG in Kalinga.
