Online content creator Erwan Heussaff was recently nominated for a James Beard Award under the social media category.
Many of his loved ones and colleagues in showbiz including Isabelle Daza, Liz Uy, Raymond Gutierrez, and Bianca Gonzalez extended their congratulatory messages.
Erwan's wife, actress Anne Curtis reiterated how "proud" she is over her husband's latest milestone.
Nico Bolzico, Solenn Heussaff's husband and Erwan's brother-in-law, echoed the same, relating how "hard work pays off."
Of course, Erwan, himself, was ecstatic about his achievement.
He shared on social media last April 28: "Woke up to the exciting news yesterday and it just makes me more determined to keep going."
According to him, to be recognized internationally by such a platform is "so motivating."
"It all started as a food blog to help people eat healthy. After 12 years, 3 studio builds, countless cooking videos and short documentaries later, it finally feels like we are hitting our stride. Whether I make it or not, it doesn’t really matter!," he related.
"With FEATR @featrmedia we are working towards building a proudly Filipino, digital video focused, food media outlet. Showcasing stories and voices that need to be heard from our beautiful islands through TV caliber content. I hope we can enter a bunch of our videos in next year’s awards," he added.
Erwan declared that he basically grew professionally publicly on the Internet and he just want to say thank you to the "amazing community" who’ve been interested in what they have been doing over the last few years.
"In my 'mature' age of 36, I now always focus on the positive. A few articles came out about me this week and have brought out the 'commentors', it’s still sad to see that people who’ve made their assumptions about me a few years back, still can’t see our growth and the AMAZING work that the whole FEATR Media and The Fat Kid Inside Studios teams churn out. We are on track to document all Filipino heritage Salts this year, incredible local products and continue to shoot as many provinces as possible; giving light to the people who make all these places special and hopefully raising awareness and pride along the way. Yes, we still do branded work and that’s what helps fund everything else we do!"
He ended his post, noting: "We're just getting started!"
It was in 2021 when Erwan rebranded his 10-year-old channel to FEATR.
