House Speaker Martin Romualdez attended on Saturday, April 15 (Philippine time) the lecture on Digital Public Infrastructure at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headquarters in Washington D.C. in the United States (US).

The lecture is part of the ongoing World Bank (WB)-IMF Spring Meetings.

Romualdez, arguably President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s top ally in the Philippine legislature, is included in the country’s official delegation to the meetings.

Romualdez,  Leyte's 1st district representative. said the House of Representatives has passed the E-Governance/E-Government Bill, which seeks to shift the entire bureaucracy over to the digital space for faster and transparent delivery of services, and for better engagement with the public.

The bill is considered a priority legislation of the Marcos administration.
