‘D-Day’: BTS’ Suga next to release solo album 


BTS’ Suga will be the next in line to release a solo album. 

Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, announced on April 2 that Suga will release his first official solo album “D-Day” on April 21.

“‘D-Day’ marks the concluding chapter of a trilogy by SUGA’s another moniker, Agust D, succeeding the previous mixtapes, ‘Agust D’ and ‘D-2.’ The album delves into the personal journey of SUGA as Agust D, offering an intimate portrayal of his life as an artist,” Big Hit Music said. 

A pre-release track will be released on April 7 and “Suga will be engaging with fans through a variety of content, including a documentary and a world tour. 

Pre-order for the “D-Day” album will start on April 3. 

Suga will be the latest member of BTS to have an official solo album after J-Hope, Jin, RM and Jimin. 

BTS members have been focusing on solo activities due to their military service. Jin was the first to enlist in the military last Dec. 13. 

Big Hit Music announced on April 1 that J-Hope will be enlisting in the Korean army but did not disclose the date.
