The Army 5th Infantry Division said their remains will be brought to Cauayan City, Isabela on Monday, March 13, as long as weather permits.

Responders reached the crash site in a mountainous area in Barangay Ditarum, this town, on Saturday morning, March 11.

The Army 5th Infantry Division said the retrieval team arrived in the area at 8 a.m.

They were supposed to get there earlier but rain and slippery slopes delayed them.

An aircraft from the Armed Forces Northern Luzon Command has been tapped to ferry the remains from this town to the Cauayan City Airport.

The crash site is 13.6 kilometers away by air from the Divilacan proper, the Army said.

The plane went missing after departing the Cauayan City Airport for Maconacon, Isabela.
