LOOK: Teves' travel clearance says he should already be back in PH

Controversial congressman, Negros Oriental 3rd district Rep. Arnolfo "Arnie" Teves Jr. is supposed to be back in the Philippines today, Thursday, March 9, 2023.

This is based on the travel clearance that House Secretary General Reginald Velasco gave Teves for his "personal foreign trip" to the United States (US).

Teves is tagged in the broad-daylight assassination of his provincemate, Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo. Degamo was gunned outside his home in Pamplona on March 4.

The travel clearance for Teves covers the period Feb. 28 to March 9.

The travel clearance doesn't mention the reason for Teves' personal trip, although he had already said in a video message earlier this week that it was for his stem cell treatment.
