Actress Krista Miller has opened up about having an affair with a fellow beauty pageant contestant several years ago.
"Why not? Wala naman tayo sa gender. Kung tutoong tao naman siya. Hindi naman ako naging totally tomboy pero nagkaroon talaga ako ng attraction sa babae until now naman," said Krista when asked about the possibility of having an affair with the same gender, during a media conference for the latest AQ Prime movie "Upuan" held at the AQ Prime office in Quezon City recently.
Krista added: "Nagkaroon talaga ako ng relasyon sa kapwa babae pero high school pa po ako noon. Hindi na talaga umabot sa serious relationship. Noong hinawakan niya ang kamay ko, sabi ko 'hindi ko kaya.' Naging magkaibigan lang kami. Nagsimula yun noong sumali ako sa beauty pageant. Naging close na kami."
Asked about her showbiz crush among our female stars, Krista said: "Hindi ako masyadong attracted sa mga taga-showbiz. Gusto ko non-showbiz."
On having a relationship these days, Krista also said: "Wala naman sa akin kung lalaki o babae (ang magiging karelasyon ko). Basta mahal mo."
Krista believes she got her boyish moves from her brothers. "Yung mga kapatid ko kasi lalaki. Marami silang barkadang lalaki so na-adopt ko yung pagiging boyish nila."
Director Greg Colasito hinted at the steamy scenes, especially on the first part of the movie.
"Maiinit ang mga eksena pero it's part of the film. Kailangan ko siyang ipakita para maramdaman ng mga tao yung pagmamahalan ng dalawang babae na nandoon talaga sa eksena," Colasito said.
The director also said that heI always allow his artists to do what they feel during the shoot. "Sila Krista and Andrew (Gan) kasi may chemistry in a sense na nagtutulungan silang dalawa."
Andrew also said that he's grateful for this movie where he plays the husband of Krista. The hunk added that he's looking forward to doing more interesting showbiz projects.
"Ako naman po ay hindi naman nagko-close ng door lalo na kung maganda yung material and relevant yung role. Lagi kong sinasabi gusto ko gumawa ng bago na outside of my comfort zone. Naniniwala kasi ako na kapag nasa labas tayo ng comfort zone natin, doon tayo nagi-improve," Andrew also said.
